Liam Gerner

Immersed in blues and country music, Liam Gerner left his rural family life in the Adelaide hills to seek his fortune (and Nick Lowe out) in London.  Almost immediately, he was treated as a “hot new talent” and signed with RCA. But after a year, Liam headed to the US, joined Texan country rocker, Ryan Bingham’s band on guitar and experienced American roots music. When he returned to Australia in 2014, Liam had his guitar, songs and Land Of No Roads, an album cut with LA’s finest at Rick Rubins studio Shangri La. What drives him is the song, storytelling and music. Liam is now based in Melbourne and tour Australia/New Zealand in the USA and Europe. He also plays and works with his new Melbourne based band, The Alan Ladds.
