Jack Howard

“one of the great quiet achievers of Australian music” – Jack Howard’s lifelong musical journey spans Classical, Jazz, Electronica and Rock terrains.

Best known for playing trumpet with iconic Australian band Hunters & Collectors; and touring the world with Midnight Oil as their multi-instrumentalist in 2017. Jack also has a thriving solo artist career.  Jack’s authentic, self-deprecating, darkly humorous,yet idealistic songs and compositions compel you to dance.

His celebrated record Lightheavyweight 2019 is a driving mix of electronica, trumpet and cinematic moods. Jack’s new CD, Dog Songs, features a range of live favourites from his band Jack Howard and the Long Lost Brothers.
